“Singing with the choir makes me so happy. We raise money for charities big and small by going out into the community. We sing really cool songs like Blame it on me by George Ezra. And also I've made some lovely new friends. I would recommend the choir to anyone”

Learn from professionally trained musicians

Don’t worry if it’s your first time singing. We teach you how to sing with our professional, trained musicians. You’ll improve your singing and have fun every week.

It can be scary to sing in front of people so that’s why we’ll never make you sing on your own. You’ll always sing in groups, with friendly people supporting you.

Find your safe space with us

With increasing loneliness and anxiety, you can find a safe space to find yourself again or escape from the pressures of life. Get support from like-minded people who genuinely care about you.

"I joined Buskerteers Choir for a confidence boost, to meet new people and to give myself something to do of an evening for 'me' time. Best decision I've made in a very long time."

A message from your choir leader

My name is Andy Ingram and I am the Buskerteers Choir Leader for Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, Braintree and Clacton.

I've been a professional musician for many years. I've travelled all over the world performing at many different shows, corporate events and weddings.

I'm very excited to welcome you into our choir and to take you on an amazing musical journey. We'll be learning songs and performing on stage together, and trying to raise as much money for charity as we can with our busking and performing.

I can't wait to meet you! Have a listen to my performance in the meantime:

“I joined Buskerteers to do something that is an essential part of my life, singing! To be able to do that and meet lots of great people and have a fantastically gifted, hilarious Maestro to boot is a win-win for me. I would recommend this choir to anyone, even if you think you can't sing. It's so rewarding on many levels. 5 Stars from me.”
