First-time singers welcome

If you don’t have previous singing experience, it’s okay! All you need is a can-do attitude and we can teach you the rest -if you can talk, you can sing. Our professional, trained musicians will be with you every step of the way to help you improve every week.

We know it can be scary to sing in front of people so that’s why we’ll never make you sing on your own. You’ll always sing in groups, with friendly people supporting you.

Escape your day-to-day

With increasing loneliness and anxiety, the pressures of life can be hard on you. Our members understand hardships very well and you can find genuine support in the choir group. Find yourself again with help from our choir.

"Great collaboration of like-minded people who enjoy singing and it’s a place to have fun forget your troubles and share the joy of music - but in particular the choir host who is very talented and engaging and super funny!"

A message from your choir leader

My name is Kurt Munro and I am the Buskerteers Choir Leader for New Forest, Bournemouth, Southampton and Portsmouth.

I've been a professional musician for many years. I've travelled all over the world performing at many different shows, corporate events and weddings.

I'm very excited to welcome you into our choir and to take you on an amazing musical journey. We'll be learning songs and performing on stage together, and trying to raise as much money for charity as we can with our busking and performing.

I can't wait to meet you! Have a listen to my performance in the meantime.

"I have met a new group of friends, and had fun, it is fantastic for your mental health. The songs we have learnt so far are brilliant and we all get very excited when we have to go to an event to busk. I would recommend joining to everyone because there is no judgment if you think you can’t sing. Best thing I have ever done for myself"
