We have lots of unique events to raise money for charity where you can sing on stage, make viral videos, put a wig on, dress in costumes and have fun. No audition needed!

About the Gillingham choir group
Our Gillingham group is a brand new choir! We're looking forward to learning a variety of songs, raising money for charity, and forming new friendships and connections.
Learn from professionally trained musicians
Don’t worry if it’s your first time singing. We teach you how to sing with our professional, trained musicians. You’ll improve your singing and have fun every week.
It can be scary to sing in front of people so that’s why we’ll never make you sing on your own. You’ll always sing in groups, with friendly people supporting you.
Find your safe space with us
With increasing loneliness and anxiety, you can find a safe space to find yourself again or escape from the pressures of life. Get support from like-minded people who genuinely care about you.

A message from your choir leader
My name is Becky White and I am the Buskerteers Choir Leader for Ashford, Canterbury, Maidstone and Gillingham.
I have recently completed a songwriting degree studying at ICMP in London, where I spent most of my years gigging in various venues and building my artist identity. I even had interest from Sony Records! Since then, I have continued gigging as a solo artist and at function events such as weddings and parties. My influences vary greatly and include country, soul and pop music from artists like Chris Stapleton, JP Cooper and Passenger.
I am so excited to meet the new Buskerteers in Kent and can’t wait to share all of our milestones. We will be learning how to harmonise to well known hits using a range of singing techniques in a safe environment and using these skills to put on performances and raise money for charity, alongside making new friends, building confidence and having a good time!

In 2021, our founder and Director of the Buskerteers Choir, Andrew Small, was nominated for a Pride of Britain Award for fundraising.
