Maldon Community Choir

Join our friendly community choir at Maldon and sing your heart out. Join our mission to raise £1 million for charity while you sing your heart out. We have lots of unique events to raise money for charity where you can put a wig on, dress in costumes and have fun. No audition is needed!

“Singing, particularly with other people, always lifts spirits, releases endorphins and helps you to forget everyday worries and pressures.”

-Adrian Peel

 First-time singers welcome

If you don’t have previous singing experience, it’s okay! All you need is a can-do attitude and we can teach you the rest -if you can talk, you can sing. Our professional, trained musicians will be with you every step of the way to help you improve every week.

We know it can be scary to sing in front of people so that’s why we’ll never make you sing on your own. You’ll always sing in groups, with friendly people supporting you.

Find yourself again

With increasing loneliness and anxiety, the pressures of life can be hard on you. Our members understand hardships very well and you can find genuine support in the choir group. Find yourself again with help from our choir.

“I'd encourage anyone who loves to sing, to come along regardless of ability. Andy is a great choir leader and I guarantee you'll come away smiling”

-Claire Moon

A message from your choir leader

My name is Dan Brock and I am the Buskerteers Choir Leader for Thurrock, Southend, Maldon and Colchester.

I've been a professional musician for many years. I've travelled all over the world performing at many different shows, corporate events and weddings.

I'm very excited to welcome you into our choir and to take you on an amazing musical journey. We'll be learning songs and performing on stage together, and trying to raise as much money for charity as we can with our busking and performing.

I can't wait to meet you! Have a listen to a performance of mine in the meantime.
