A message from your choir leader

Thanks so much for coming to find out more about the South Woodham Ferrers Choir – My name is Andrew Small and I’m the choir leader. I’d love to invite you along to a free taster session so you can see what it’s really like. I’ll be waiting at the door to say hello when you arrive. I’ll introduce you to a few people, and together we’ll dive into some fun singing – no scary solos, no pressure, just the joy of making music as a group.

Most people who come for the first time worry they won’t know what to do or that they’ll stand out – but honestly, you won’t! Everything is taught step by step, and we all learn and laugh together.

You’ll come away feeling uplifted, with a few new friends and (hopefully!) a smile stuck on your face.

If you’ve got any questions before coming along, please don’t hesitate to ask – I know trying something new can feel a bit daunting, but I’ll be happy to chat.

I’d really love to see you at a rehearsal soon – why not come and give it a try?
