"Everyone is really friendly the choirmaster is amazing and learning to sing brilliant songs - best bit will be fundraising for some excellent causes"
- Denise Lagdon
No previous musical experience needed
If you’ve never sung before or played any instruments, don’t worry! We can teach you how to sing with our professional, trained musicians. We’ll make sure you improve your singing while enjoying yourself every week.
We know it can be scary to sing in front of people so that’s why we’ll never make you sing on your own. You’ll always sing in groups, with friendly people supporting you.
Escape your day-to-day
With increasing loneliness and anxiety, you can find a safe space to be yourself & connect with others at our choir. Get support from like-minded people who genuinely care about you and find yourself again.
"Great collaboration of like-minded people who enjoy singing and it’s a place to have fun forget your troubles and share the joy of music - but in particular the choir host who is very talented and engaging and super funny!"

About the Worthing choir group
The Worthing Choir is brand new and opening in January 2024. We have an incredibly talented and experienced Choir Leader who has joined the team and will build a friendly and welcoming group, teach them some epic songs to perform in harmony and raise money for charity from busking and performing.
"I’d recommend everything... sharing our love of music with each other, making new friends and feeling part of something rather special. Raising money is always a great thing to do, too"
- Barbara Holloway
A message from your Choir Leader
My name is Katherine Stewart and I am the Buskerteers Choir Leader for Haywards Heath, Crawley, Worthing and Brighton and Hove.
I've been a professional musician for many years. I’ve played in bands, written hundreds of songs, and taught aspiring singers and musicians from ages 4 to 94!

Pride of Britain awards
Founder and Director of the Buskerteers Choir, Andrew Small, was nominated for a Pride of Britain Award 2021 for fundraising.
ITV News attended our local choir rehearsal to find out more about the Buskerteers.
"I joined Buskerteers Choir for a confidence boost, to meet new people and to give myself something to do of an evening for 'me' time. Best decision I've made in a very long time."
